As a trusted consultant to institutional-grade investors and owners, we must do all we can to uphold the core principles of ESG and corporate sustainability whilst delivering value to our clients. We aim to foster a culture where these principles are ubiquitous in our thinking and approach. In addition, we must not become complacent and seek to continually challenge the sustainability boundaries set within our industry.
Closer to home, Greengate promotes a no blame culture. In such a setting, staff should be free to share their ideas, highlight challenges and not be afraid of making mistakes. We must regularly question whether our actions are adding value to our staff, our clients, and our community. If they don’t, we need to change so that we do the next time.
